Fashion movement largely associated with the styling of various late '80's and early '90's situational comedies (i.e: Perfect Strangers) and TLC shows centering around the non-ironic wearing of chinos, orthopedic New Balance sneakers, tucked in cotton sweaters, and [exclusively white] tube socks. Seen as a generalized subcultural reaction to the "infinite choice anxiety" AKA "infinity phobia" presented by the onset of the Internet (AKA World Wide Web abbrev. WWW). Accepted brands include but are not limited to Eddie Bauer, Van Heusen, Mephisto, J. Crew and Patagonia previous to its controversial 2015 Denim Relaunch campaign.
