Compendium (AKA codex) of hypertext attributed to the digital recluse mailer_daemon. Originally posted on UseNet via a cryptographical link, I, Antichrist was housed on MindVox's Code-X Digital platform beginning around 1994. Building on the style of Spectral Peaks, m_d's prior and initial work of hypertext, I,A includes low-res images, simple coding and formatting, and a self-contained citation system. The codex contains 21 entries, though some entries are subdivided (see: Masters of Deception). Throughout the work, m_d references Buddhist philosophy, hacking and phracking culture, the occult, Japanese anime, and toy lore, namely Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe (specifically Destro and his tumultuous, but by all accounts, unconsummated relationship the Baroness), and Transformers.
