Infinity Phobia AKA Apeirophobia

Extreme and pervasive fear of the eternal and everlasting. Can be triggered by interaction with things appearing to be infinite (i.e. the internet, emptiness as described in the dharma, death, the timeless abyss between portals, the violet virtual expanse of cyberspace, the 1982 film Tron) and is often characterized by dry mouth, sweaty palms, smacking of the lips, sticking out of the tongue, detachment from reality, and the constant debilitating anticipation of oncoming waves of nothingness. Neuropsychologists speculate that apeirophobia relates to the inherent artificiality of the time/space continuum and our instinctual knowledge that base reality is in fact a non-temporal, non-spatial causal flowstate represented in Buddhist doctrine as The Emptiness and in modern science as The Quantum Worldview. Infinity can then be seen as a source of Absolute Truth and, thus, a limitless power source .
