Molly Millions
[related: Lady3Jane, Meat Puppet]
A cybernetically enhanced mercenary and street samurai appearing recurrently in William Gibson’s early cyberpunk fiction - most notably as a major character in Neuromancer and in Steven Bochco's Neuromancer-spinoff television pilot wintermute. As a teenager, Molly worked as a meat puppet[1] until earning enough to finance her physical enhancements and vanquish her panderers. Known for her retractable razor blade fingernails and lightning fast reflexes, Molly's eyes are permanently sealed by shaded bionic glasses, a modification requiring the rerouting of her tear ducts through her mouth.[2] The luxuriated ghostclone Lady3Jane of the Villa Straylight is presented throughout Gibson's work as Molly's primary nemesis.[3]
