Integratron
[related: Landers, Califorina]
A geodesic dome located in the Mojave Desert near Landers, California, constructed beginning in the 1950s by George Van Tassel, a figure associated with mid-20th-century contactee movements and alternative aeronautics. Van Tassel claimed that the design for the Integratron was transmitted to him by an extraterrestrial intelligence named Ashtar of the Ashtar Galactic Command during telepathic or direct-contact encounters at nearby Giant Rock. The structure was intended to function as a device for rejuvenation, time manipulation, and energy amplification, drawing on a hybridized conceptual framework involving electromagnetism, sacred geometry, and speculative interpretations of Nikola Tesla’s work with so-called organic electricity.
The Integratron's designated location in the high desert was attributed by Ashtar to a set of unique geomagnetic and atmospheric conditions. Notably, the structure was constructed without metal fasteners, relying instead on laminated wood and specific proportional relationships, which were said to be essential to its intended energetic properties. The structure was completed in 1978, following Von Tassell's death, under the posthumous guidance of his robust archives.
