Valhalla
An exceeding vast Asgardian hall that figures heavily in Norse mythology. Upon mortal defeat in combat, worthy
warriors are chosen by Odin to reside in Valhalla1 drinking sweet intoxicating mead from Heiðrún’s under udders in
preparation for true obliteration with the onset of
Ragnarök.
1 In this sense, Valhalla can be seen as a corollary to the Greek land of Elysium.
