SIDE A
1. PARCO Collexion I
With the largely monochromatic Collexion I, [REDACTED] explored transparent veils and introduced her signature cumbersome headpieces, here in the form of conical pyramids. PARCO experimented with different runway options for the PARCO Collexion launch, starting first with conventional raised platforms, including painted black wood with gridded white tape, gradually moving on, at Kurigami's insistence, to more experimental approaches. First, the photographer, after having seen the film Alien, had gooey beige hot plastic poured onto the platform - a surface which proved to be extremely slick when dried.[1]. Most bizarrely, however, Kuragami created an alternate venue with a pitted runway filled with black glass spheres - visually stunning and beyond perilous to navigate in shiny white shoes.
