Benevolent extraterrestrial figure first recognized and in contact with George Van Tassel in the 1950's. Early on, contact between Ashtar and Von Tassell was centered on the development and construction of the Integratron in Landers, California, a geodesic dome of remarkable design and transformative power. Ashtar first made public contact in 1971 by calling into a British radio show. More notable, however, was 1977's Southern Incident in which the Ashtar Galactic Command successfully conducted a signal intrusion on a UK Southern Television broadcast, warning humanity of impending disaster.
